Stand-mounted core drill
The machine is anchored to the wall or floor so the hole stays straight and square.
Clean round holes in concrete walls and slabs with a diamond core drill, for AC, plumbing, electrical, ventilation and extractor runs.
A core hole is a round opening of a set diameter cut with a hollow diamond bit, so the concrete core comes out whole and the hole keeps clean edges with no breakage around it. We use it for central and split AC pipes, drainage and water lines, cables, ventilation ducts and extractors, and at the corners of large openings before they are cut. We pick the bit diameter to suit the pipe, fix the machine on a stand so the hole stays straight, and cool with water to keep dust down.
Diamond core drilling in concrete
Methods and equipment
The machine is anchored to the wall or floor so the hole stays straight and square.
We choose the diameter that suits the pipe or duct going through.
Protects the bit and cuts dust, with the area protected from water.
We check visible electrical and water routes and any available drawings before fixing the hole position.
How it is done
We set the position and diameter of each hole for the AC unit or pipe and check what is behind the wall.
We fix the stand and set the hole straight or at the fall needed for drainage.
We cut the hole with the diamond bit under cooling; the concrete core comes out in one piece.
We remove the core, water and dust and hand over the hole ready for the installation.
Estimated prices

We choose the bit size for what will pass through: AC pipes, drainage, cables or a vent duct. Tell us the purpose and we set the size at inspection.
Yes, we core through floor slabs for pipes and ducts, after checking the position against beams and rebar.
The core drill cuts the hole with clean edges and no breaking around it, so the paint and finish usually stay intact.
The diamond bit cuts both steel and concrete, but we prefer to avoid main bars in structural members and choose the best position at inspection.
By the hole diameter, the concrete thickness, the number of holes and where they are; it is set after inspection.
