Concrete Cutting in Al-Ahsa – Hofuf & Mubarraz Wall Sawing and Coring

Concrete Cutting in Al-Ahsa

Concrete cutting in Al-Ahsa means opening up or reshaping a marked-out section of concrete (a wall, a roof slab or a ground floor) in Hofuf, Mubarraz or the oasis villages with diamond tools that cut rather than smash, so the opening comes out at the exact size you need and everything around it stays intact. Aemar Al-Maryam General Contracting handles it in older houses under renovation, new villas before and after finishing, rest houses and farms among the palms, and shops and commercial buildings: core holes for AC, drainage and extractor fans, new doors and windows, stair openings in slabs, and separating cuts that detach part of an old house before it is demolished. Our list begins at SAR 90 for a basic opening, with the firm figure agreed once we have seen the site. Phone or WhatsApp: 0547879578.

Al-Ahsa is not simply an extension of Dammam when it comes to the type of work people ask for. Here you find a family house built decades ago whose owners want to open the majlis onto the courtyard, a new villa in a recent plan that needs an extra stair opening, a rest house out among the farms whose owner wants a kitchen extractor and a drain line for the pool, and a shop on a commercial street that needs a side door into its store room. Each case calls for its own method, and each method for its own machine. That is why we wrote this guide specifically for people in Al-Ahsa: what we cut, how we plan our visits from Dammam, roughly what an opening costs, and what to send us so that the job is clear from day one.

Quick summary for Al-Ahsa customers

  • Where we work: Hofuf, Mubarraz and the surrounding districts, villages, farms and rest houses of Al-Ahsa Governorate.
  • Most common jobs: renovating older houses, AC and extractor openings in rest houses, and door and stair openings in villas and shops.
  • Methods: a rail-mounted diamond wall saw, a floor saw, a core drill rig, a diamond wire saw for thick masses and a hand-held cutter for light jobs.
  • The visit: we come from Dammam on a pre-booked date and group your jobs into a single visit wherever possible, which lowers the cost per opening.
  • Cost: SAR 90 upwards per basic hole, SAR 75 upwards per sawn metre, SAR 140 upwards per doorway or window; estimates until inspection and agreement, plus travel.
  • To order: WhatsApp your photos and map pin to 0547879578, or simply ring us.

Concrete Cutting in Al-Ahsa: What Do We Cut in Hofuf, Mubarraz and the Farms?

Concrete cutting in Al-Ahsa varies more with the type of property than with the district. So with every customer we start with one question: what kind of building is it, and how old? The answer decides the machine, the number of technicians, whether props are needed and whether we should bring a wire saw or whether the wall saw will do. These are the property types we work in most often in Al-Ahsa and what is usually requested in each:

■ Older houses under renovation

Opening a majlis onto a hall, widening a narrow doorway, separating a part to be demolished from a part that stays, and openings for new wiring and plumbing that replace the old runs.

■ New villas

AC core holes before finishing, resizing a window opening, and an extra stair or home-lift opening according to an engineering drawing.

■ Rest houses and farms

Kitchen and bathroom extractor openings, drainage and service openings for pools and pump rooms, and new doors into annexes.

■ Shops and commercial buildings

Internal doors between two units, ventilation and duct openings, internal stair openings and slab alterations for new services.

Older Houses in Al-Ahsa: Partial Renovation or Removing One Part and Keeping the Rest

Many families in Al-Ahsa own an older house they would rather keep and renovate than knock down entirely: a room merged into the living area, a kitchen moved, or an old annex removed so a newer one can be built in its place. In these cases breaking with a hammer is the worst option, because the vibration travels into walls and roofs that have stood for a long time, and cracks can appear in places where no work was requested at all.

The method we use is a “separating cut”: we mark the line where the part to be removed ends, and cut it right through with the diamond saw, so the old section is fully detached from the part that remains before any demolition crew goes near it. After that, the detached part can be broken up, or sectioned and lifted out, without affecting the wall that stays. If the job involves wider demolition, you will find the details on our demolition and breaking service page.

A note on very old houses

If the house has traditional mud or stone walls next to concrete sections added later, show us in the photos. Diamond cutting suits concrete and block, but traditional walls need a different, gentler approach to vibration and water, and the municipality may need to be consulted before any old building is altered.

Rest Houses and Farms Among the Palms

A rest house (istiraha) in Al-Ahsa is often a single-storey concrete building in the middle of a farm or a large plot, with a majlis, a kitchen, bathrooms and sometimes a pool and a pump room. What is most often requested is small rectangular openings for kitchen extractors, core holes for drain pipes and pool services, and a new door between the majlis and an annex. Working in a rest house is easier than in an occupied home in terms of space, but it needs different preparation: a power source close to the cutting point, water for cooling, and a track that lets the vehicle reach the building.

New Villas in the Newer Plans

In new villas the alteration usually happens before or during finishing: the owner decided where the AC units would go after the concrete was poured and now needs core holes, or wants a wider window facing the garden, or an additional slab opening for an internal staircase. Here the advantage of diamond cutting is obvious: straight edges save the contractor plastering and patching, and the wall is not subjected to shocks that could damage nearby insulation or render.

Concrete Cutting in Hofuf and Mubarraz: One City, Different Requests

We treat Hofuf and Mubarraz as one continuous urban area, so there is no difference in our price or equipment between a district in Hofuf and one in Mubarraz. The real differences come from the building type and how easy it is to reach: a house in an older district with narrow streets needs a plan for parking and carrying equipment in, a villa in a new plan is easy to access, and a rest house on the edge of the farms needs its location pinned precisely on the map before the day of the visit.

Concrete Cutting in Hofuf

Concrete cutting in Hofuf covers everything in this guide: coring and core holes, wall sawing for doors and windows, slab cutting for stairs and ducts, and floor sawing for drainage runs. A request that comes up repeatedly in Hofuf is converting a large family house into separate units for grown-up children, which usually means a new external door, or closing one doorway and opening another, plus openings for separate meters and services.

Concrete Cutting in Mubarraz

Concrete cutting in Mubarraz follows exactly the same method as in Hofuf, and we can cover Mubarraz on the same trip if you have work there and another customer has work in Hofuf. Typical Mubarraz requests include drainage openings in house courtyards, new pipe runs through boundary and annex walls, and adjusting kitchen openings after a redesign. Send us your precise location and we will tell you which date is available.

If you are outside Hofuf and Mubarraz

We also serve the villages, farms and rest houses of Al-Ahsa Governorate. Send the map pin with your photos and we will tell you whether it can be added to an existing visit on the same day.

How We Plan an Al-Ahsa Visit from Dammam

Aemar Al-Maryam is based in Dammam, and the road distance to Al-Ahsa is about 160 kilometres. So we do not treat an Al-Ahsa request like a Dammam call-out we can reach within the hour. We treat it as a planned visit: we fix a date, we know in advance every job you need and its dimensions, and we load the right equipment for all of them, so we never have to come back because a particular machine or core bit diameter was not on the vehicle.

This planning works in your favour first. Travel and equipment preparation are part of the cost of any job in a distant city, and the more of your jobs you group into one visit, the more openings that cost is spread across, and the lower the cost per opening becomes. If you need AC holes today and know you will open a doorway next month, it is cheaper to plan them together.

StageWhat we doWhat we need from you
Before the visitReview the photos and dimensions, choose the machines, bits and props, and send you the estimated costClear photos of every cutting point, the sizes, the floor level and your map pin
Fixing the dateAgree on a day that suits you and combine other Al-Ahsa jobs with it where possibleConfirmation of the date and someone to open the site
The working dayArrive with the full kit, protect the area, cut and core, and vacuum up water and slurryPower nearby, a water source and the work area cleared of furniture
After cuttingLift out the cut pieces and tidy the site as agreedA check of the result before the crew leaves

A simple way to save

Write down every opening you need in the house or rest house, even small ones such as a cable hole or an AC pipe sleeve, and send them all at once. An opening added to the same visit costs far less than one that needs a trip of its own.

If the job is large, such as cutting a slab for a stair opening or separating a big section of an old house, we may need an inspection before the working day to confirm dimensions, props and the route for lowering the pieces. That inspection is also booked by appointment, and a video call is sometimes enough when the photos and measurements are clear.

Concrete Cutting Company in Al-Ahsa: How to Spot a Serious Offer

A concrete cutting company in Al-Ahsa deserves your trust when it asks before it quotes: how thick is the wall? Is it poured concrete or block? Which floor? Are there structural elements above or below it? An offer that arrives with a quick number and no questions usually relies on a grinder and a hammer, and the difference shows once work starts. These points help you compare:

  • ✓Questions before the price: thickness, size, floor and element type, because these are what actually drive the cost.
  • ✓Diamond equipment that fits the job: a rail-mounted wall saw for doors and windows and a core rig for round holes, not a hand-held cutter for everything.
  • ✓Clarity on structural work: a serious contractor tells you when an engineering report is needed and refuses to cut a column.
  • ✓Protection for an occupied home: covering floors and furniture and vacuuming water and slurry as the work goes.
  • ✓What the price includes: does it cover lifting out the pieces and removing debris? Does it include travel to Al-Ahsa? Agree on it in writing in your messages.
  • ✓Clear appointments: in a city far from the company base, a fixed date that is kept matters more than general promises.
  • ✓Completed work: ask for photos of previous jobs, and see our completed projects.

Core Drilling in Al-Ahsa: AC, Drainage and Extractor Holes

Core drilling in Al-Ahsa means making a clean round hole through a wall, slab or floor with a water-cooled diamond core bit, so that an AC pipe, a drain, a cable or an extractor duct can pass through. The rig is anchored to the surface on a stand, so the hole goes in straight at the required diameter and the concrete cylinder comes out whole, without cracking the edges of the opening.

AC Core Holes in Al-Ahsa

Summers in Al-Ahsa are long and hot, with an air conditioner in almost every room, so it is no surprise that AC holes are the most frequent request we receive from the city. The usual split AC hole is about 65 mm, drilled with a slight downward slope towards the outdoor unit so that condensate drains away from the room, which is what manufacturers’ installation manuals specify. If you are installing several units in a new villa, agree all their positions with your AC technician before we arrive so we can drill them all in one visit.

Drainage and Extractor Openings in Houses and Rest Houses

A drain hole is sized from the pipe’s external diameter with some clearance for sealing, so we do not fix a diameter before we know the pipe or have seen the plumbing layout. Extractor openings are round or rectangular depending on the fan: round ones are cored, while rectangular ones are cut with the saw, or with the hand-held cutter if they are small and the wall thickness allows.

Core Holes in Slabs and Floors

Coring through a slab needs more care than coring a wall, because the slab may carry dense reinforcement or concealed services, and some commercial buildings have post-tensioned tendons. We therefore scan the hole position with a rebar detector before drilling, keep away from beams, and never core a beam without a decision from an engineering office. Diameters and typical uses are listed on the core holes service page.

Concrete Cutting and Coring in Al-Ahsa: Which One Does Your Job Need?

Concrete cutting and coring in Al-Ahsa are two complementary services, and the shape of the opening decides which one you need. A round opening for a pipe or duct is cored; a rectangular opening for a door, window or stair is sawn. Plenty of Al-Ahsa jobs need the two together: for a big square duct, for instance, we first core a hole at each corner so the blade stops cleanly there, then saw the straight runs from hole to hole. Because our crew carries both, you do not need two different contractors on the same day.

Wall Sawing in Al-Ahsa Without Breaking

Wall sawing in Al-Ahsa with a diamond saw means the opening is separated from the wall by complete cuts before any breaking takes place, which means no hammer ever touches the wall that remains. We mark the outline, fix the wall-saw rail to the wall, then cut the perimeter in stages until the full depth is reached, and at the end break the freed block down into manageable lifts. The result is straight edges that are ready, almost immediately, for the frame to be fitted.

New Doorways and Wider Windows Through Al-Ahsa Concrete Walls

Opening a door in a concrete wall is one of the most common requests when older Al-Ahsa houses are renovated, and opening a wider window is one of the most common in new villas. Before either, we need to know: is the wall load-bearing? A wall thicker than 20 cm, or one with a column above it or a beam below it, may be load-bearing, and putting a doorway through it changes the structure, so an engineer has to specify the opening size and the lintel that will sit above it. A window in an external wall changes the façade and may need a permit. In both cases we install temporary props where needed and cut to the drawing. For details, see our door and window openings service.

“Laser” Wall Cutting in Al-Ahsa: What Actually Happens?

When someone in Al-Ahsa searches for “laser wall cutting”, they usually mean an opening with smooth edges and no breaking. In reality, no builder in the Kingdom slices a reinforced concrete wall with a beam of light. The cutting is done by a diamond blade on a rail or a diamond wire, and the laser’s job is only to project straight, level reference lines onto the wall beforehand. Lab experiments with very powerful lasers have managed to strip a few millimetres from a concrete face, which is a long way from going through a 20 cm house wall.

If you ask for “laser cutting”, what you get from us is the result you are really after: lines set out with a laser level, a saw running on a fixed rail and an almost smooth edge. We go into more depth in our Dammam laser cutting explainer.

Concrete Saws in Al-Ahsa: The Equipment We Bring on the Visit

A concrete saw is not a single machine, and because we come from Dammam we make sure everything the job might need is on the vehicle. Here is a summary of what we bring and when it is used:

EquipmentWhen we use it in Al-AhsaApproximate limits
Wall saw running on a railDoors and windows in houses and villas, and separating cuts in older housesHeavy models reach about 73 cm deep from one face
Walk-behind slab sawDrainage runs in courtyards and rest houses, and openings in slabsReaches roughly 24 cm deep
Diamond wire looped around the massThick blocks, footings and large sections detached before demolitionNo limit tied to a blade diameter
Core rig on a standAC, drainage, extractors and electricalFrom 12 mm up to about half a metre on standard rigs
Hand-held cutter (“grinder”)Small openings, edge trimming and block wallsNo more than about 12.5 cm deep
Steel scanner and laser levelFinding bars and buried services, projecting reference linesChecking and setting-out only; no cutting

Grinder Wall Cutting in Al-Ahsa: When Will a Hand Cutter Do?

A grinder (the hand-held power cutter people call “the rocket”) is fine in Al-Ahsa for light work: a small extractor opening, trimming an edge, cutting block in a non-load-bearing wall, or a surface cut before breaking. For a reinforced concrete wall 20 cm thick or more, a 14-inch hand-held cutter reaches only about 12.5 cm, so it cannot cut the wall through from one side, and trying to finish from the other side produces two cuts that rarely meet exactly. That is why we reach for the hand cutter on small work and set up the rail saw for anything structural.

Small Opening Cutting in Al-Ahsa
A small rectangular kitchen-extractor opening in a rest-house wall among the palm farms, cut with a hand-held cutter and water mist.

This photo is a clear example of a job the grinder can handle: a small extractor opening in a rest-house wall, its outline clearly marked and a protection sheet below to catch water and debris. If the request were a doorway in the same wall, the equipment would be completely different.

Slab Cutting in Al-Ahsa: Stair, Lift and Duct Openings

Cutting a concrete slab in Al-Ahsa is structural work before it is cutting work, and nothing is cut until an engineering office has issued a drawing showing exactly where the hole goes, how big it is and what reinforcement will frame it. The request comes up in houses gaining an extra floor or a new internal staircase, and in shops and commercial buildings opening a stairwell between two floors or a duct for central air conditioning. This is the sequence:

  1. 1
    The drawing and engineering report
We receive the approved drawing and set the opening out on site, confirming the positions of beams and services.
  2. 2
    Shoring from below
Telescopic steel shores go in beneath the marked area and around its edges first.
  3. 3
    A cutting grid
The opening is gridded into slabs light enough to handle, so no heavy section ever drops.
  4. 4
Cutting with the floor or wall saw
We cut the lines from above with water cooling, and protect the floor below from water and slurry.
  5. 5
    Lowering and cleaning
We lower the pieces in a controlled way, then clean the edges and prepare them for strengthening and finishing.
Stair Opening Cutting in Al-Ahsa
A new stair opening in the slab of an Al-Ahsa commercial building, with a row of steel props underneath.

Notice in the photo how ruler-straight the edges are, and that the props stay in place until the strengthening work is finished. That is the difference between a sawn stair opening and one broken out with a hammer: the first is ready for finishing, while the second needs lengthy edge repairs and may leave cracks in the surrounding slab.

Reinforced Concrete Cutting in Al-Ahsa: Rebar, Services and What Is Never Cut

Reinforced concrete cutting in Al-Ahsa means the blade or bit will pass through reinforcing steel, and diamond tools cut it together with the concrete without difficulty. The real question is not “can the steel be cut?” but “may it be cut here?”. For small AC and plumbing holes we try to avoid the main bars after scanning; if steel shows up in the spot, we shift the hole a few centimetres where possible. For a door or slab opening, cutting the steel is part of the design, and the engineer specifies the strengthening required.

What we will not do

We do not cut columns, core beams, or cut a slab or load-bearing wall without a report from an engineering office. Newer commercial buildings may have post-tensioned tendons in the slab, and cutting one endangers the slab and anyone beneath it; that is why every core in such buildings is preceded by scanning.

In older houses in particular there may be no structural drawing, or earlier alterations may be undocumented. In that case the on-site inspection matters even more, and we tell you frankly what we see: whether the requested opening is safe as it is, or whether it needs an engineering opinion before work begins.

Common Mistakes When Renovating Al-Ahsa Houses Before Calling the Cutting Crew

Some of the problems we see in Al-Ahsa have nothing to do with the cutting itself but with what happened before it. These are the most frequent, and avoiding them saves you time and money:

  • ✓Breaking first, then calling for cutting: when a labourer starts with a hammer and stops because the wall is harder than expected, we arrive to find broken edges and cracks that are hard to correct. Cut first, then break up the detached block.
  • ✓Fixing the door size before buying the frame: buy the door or window first, or get the frame size from the supplier, and we cut to the real size, not the other way round.
  • ✓Forgetting hidden services: in older houses cables and pipes run in unexpected places. Isolate power to the target wall and tell us what you know about water lines.
  • ✓One opening per visit: because a trip from Dammam has a cost, openings spread over several days raise the total for no reason.
  • ✓Ignoring the engineer on a load-bearing wall: a wall that looks ordinary may carry a roof or an annex added later, and an engineering opinion before cutting is cheaper than repairs afterwards.

If you are unsure about any point, send the photos and ask us before any work starts on site; a WhatsApp consultation costs you nothing and may prevent a mistake that is hard to undo.

Concrete Cutting Prices in Al-Ahsa

Concrete cutting prices in Al-Ahsa follow the same list we use across the whole Eastern Province: a small opening or a core hole up to roughly 100 mm starts at SAR 90, each linear metre of sawing starts at SAR 75, and opening a door or window starts at SAR 140. The table below orders the jobs from smallest to largest, with examples of what we see in Al-Ahsa:

JobStarting priceAl-Ahsa example and what raises the price
Small hole up to roughly 100 mmSAR 90 per openingSplit AC in a bedroom; rises with wall thickness and floor level
Core about 125 mm (5 in)SAR 140Drain pipe in a courtyard; depends on rebar density
Core roughly 150 to 160 mm (6 in)SAR 140Rest-house kitchen extractor; depends on access
Core about 200 mm (8 in)SAR 230Ventilation duct or larger service run
Core 10 in and aboveAfter inspectionCentral AC duct in a commercial building
Linear metre of wall or slab cuttingSAR 75 per metreSeparating line in an old house or a drainage run; extra-thick walls quoted after measuring
Door or window openingSAR 140Doorway between majlis and hall; props and lintel per drawing

Treat every figure here as an estimate until inspection and agreement. The confirmed number is fixed after we see the site, and it depends on whether you want us to lift out the cut pieces and remove the debris or whether your contractor will handle that.

Travel to Al-Ahsa and How to Reduce It

Because Al-Ahsa is far from our Dammam base, the cost of travel and equipment preparation is added to the price of the work, and we state it clearly at inspection or with the estimate, before you confirm the date. We do not fix it as a set figure in advance because it moves with how much work there is, how many technicians come and which machines travel with them.

  • Group every opening needed in the house or rest house into a single request; each extra opening on the same visit lowers the average cost.
  • If relatives or neighbours in Al-Ahsa need openings too, book together for the same day.
  • Have the rooms emptied and a socket and tap ready before the van pulls up; time spent waiting stretches the day.
  • Send accurate photos and measurements so we neither carry equipment we do not need nor forget a particular bit diameter.

For the rest of our estimated prices, see the price guide.

Engineer, Balady Permit or Neither? Cutting Rules for Al-Ahsa Homes

The rule we work by is simple: an AC or pipe hole in a spot we have scanned, away from the main bars, changes nothing in the structure of the house. A doorway in a wall holding up the floor above, a stairwell through a slab, or anything done to a beam is a different category: it rearranges how the house stands up. Such work is preceded by a written opinion from a structural engineer at an accredited office, and can also call for a Balady licence, typically a restoration licence or an amendment to the building’s approved components. Enlarging or adding an outside window changes the elevation, so the same rules may apply.

We do not expect you to sort this out alone. From the photos we tell you whether the job looks structural, and if it does, we work to the approved drawing from whichever engineering office you use. In older houses under renovation, that conversation with the engineer before cutting is far cheaper than repairing a crack afterwards.

What to Send Us on WhatsApp from Al-Ahsa

The more complete your first message, the faster your estimate arrives and the more likely the crew brings the right equipment the first time. Send to WhatsApp 0547879578:

  • ✓A wide photo and a close-up of every cutting point, with the opening drawn on the photo if you can.
  • ✓The required size the door or window frame dimensions, or which pipe will pass through.
  • ✓Wall or slab thickness an approximate figure is fine, or a photo of an existing door or window reveal that shows it.
  • ✓Floor level and building type older house, new villa, rest house or shop, and which floor the work is on.
  • ✓Your map pin especially for rest houses and farms, with directions if the track is not obvious.
  • ✓Power and water is there a source near the cutting point?
  • ✓Timing when you want the work done, and whether the house will be occupied during it.

Safety, Water and Dust When Cutting in Homes and Rest Houses

Diamond cutting is wet cutting: water cools the blade and bit and stops fine crystalline silica dust from spreading through the air, and that dust is harmful to the lungs. But the water itself has to be managed: we cover floors and nearby furniture, surround the cutting area with barriers that keep slurry from reaching the rest of the house, and vacuum water as we go with a wet vacuum before it can reach the tiles or clog a floor drain.

■ Isolating the work area

Nobody comes near the cutting point, especially children in occupied homes and family rest houses.

■ Safe electrics

Watertight connections and a protective breaker, because water and electricity meet in every cutting job.

■ Supporting the cut piece

A cut piece is never left to fall free; it is supported, then lifted or lowered under control.

■ Protecting neighbouring walls

In older houses we keep vibration to a minimum and never use a hammer next to a wall that will stay.

What Al-Ahsa Customers Get from Aemar Al-Maryam

  • ✓A planned visit, not a random one: we know the job before we leave Dammam, so we bring all the right equipment.
  • ✓Published prices from SAR 90: a clear list that tells you the approximate cost before you even call.
  • ✓A full kit on the vehicle: wall, slab and wire saws plus core bits in several diameters, so no job is postponed for lack of a tool.
  • ✓Experience with older houses: we separate sections by cutting before demolition to protect what stays.
  • ✓Honesty about structural work: we tell you when an engineer is needed, and we never cut a column.
  • ✓A clean site: covering, water vacuuming and tidying, because an occupied home is not a workshop.

FAQ

Do you offer concrete cutting in Al-Ahsa even though you are based in Dammam?

Yes. We serve Hofuf, Mubarraz and the villages and farms of Al-Ahsa with scheduled visits from Dammam. We learn the job in advance from photos and sizes, and bring the full kit to finish every opening in one visit wherever possible.

What will concrete cutting in Al-Ahsa cost me?

Expect a starting point of SAR 90 for a hole of up to roughly 100 mm, SAR 75 per sawn linear metre and SAR 140 for a doorway or window. All are estimates until inspection and agreement; the Al-Ahsa travel charge is confirmed before you book.

How is the travel cost to Al-Ahsa calculated?

It is quoted with your estimate or at inspection and reflects the workload, crew size and machines involved. The more jobs you group into the same visit, the lower the cost per opening.

Is the price different between Hofuf and Mubarraz?

No. We treat Hofuf and Mubarraz as one area with the same prices and equipment. What changes the price is thickness, size, floor level and access, not the name of the district.

Can you separate part of an old house in Al-Ahsa before it is demolished?

Yes. We saw the separating line right through with a diamond saw so the part to be removed is detached from the part that stays, then it is broken up or sectioned and lifted out without affecting what remains. If the house has traditional mud or stone walls, tell us in advance because they need a different approach.

What size AC hole do you drill in Al-Ahsa?

A split unit gets roughly a 65 mm hole, angled gently down to the outdoor side so condensate never runs back indoors. It starts at SAR 90.

Do you work in rest houses and farms outside the city?

Yes, provided the site is reachable by vehicle and you tell us whether power and water are available near the cutting point. Send the map pin with photos and we will arrange what is needed before the visit.

Can anyone in Al-Ahsa really cut walls with a laser?

No laser cuts reinforced concrete walls in contracting work. The phrase refers to cutting with a rail-mounted diamond saw with lines set out by a laser level, and that is exactly what we provide, with clean straight edges.

Can I open a door with a grinder in my Al-Ahsa house?

Usually not. A 14-inch hand-held cutter reaches only about 12.5 cm, and a reinforced concrete wall is normally thicker. The grinder suits small openings, edge trimming and block walls.

Is paperwork needed before I add a doorway at home in Al-Ahsa?

For a bearing wall or any slab opening, yes: the change touches the structure, so get an engineering office to sign it off, and check whether Balady requires a licence. Small AC and plumbing core holes do not normally affect the structure once their position is scanned.

Does concrete cutting cause cracks in older houses?

Diamond cutting does not rely on hammering, so its vibration is far lower than breaking, which makes it the better choice for older houses. Even so, we check the condition of the walls before working and tell you about anything we notice.

Do you cut shop slabs for an internal staircase in Al-Ahsa?

Yes, working from an engineer's drawing that defines the hole and how it is reinforced. We install temporary props, divide the opening into pieces, cut and lower them under control; the price is set after inspection.

How do you protect the house from water during cutting?

We cover floors and nearby furniture, fence off the cutting zone and keep a wet vacuum running beside the machine, so slurry is lifted before it spreads.

What information do you need from me to price a job in Al-Ahsa?

Photos of every cutting point, the required size, the approximate thickness, the floor and building type, your map pin, whether power and water are nearby, and your preferred timing. Send them to 0547879578.
